Sky-Lofts at 8X on the Park

As of October, there has also been a change in the marketing of eight floors in 8X on the Park (floors 18-25) . Note these Sky-lofts are not the penthouse units as this is a 35 storey building.  Previously, these eight levels contained 16 condos; this has changed to 8 units over four floors, each with extremely high ceilings marketed as "Sky-Lofts" - an interesting and unique concept in Vancouver. 

Sky-Lofts Include

  • Included with the Sky-Lofts are Milson Automated Blinds (one of the few add-ons available for the other units in 8X).
  • 2 parking stalls
  • 1 double wide storage  


Sky-Loft, 3-bedroom, and 2-bedroom units remain (as of November 14th).

2-bedroom homes start at 1.68 million for 1041 sq.ft.

3-bedroom homes start at 1.81 million for 1185 sq.ft. on lower floors. 1736 & 1787 sq.ft. on floors 26 to 33. These homes also include a bonus of $100,000 decorating allowance applied against the price of the home.

Pricing for the Sky-Loft homes starts at $3,295,000 for the South facing inside units which have a direct view of the park ($1752/ft. for 1880 sq.ft. ). The South-East corner starts at $3,495,000 ($1712/ft. for 2041 sq.ft). Pricing increases at a rate of $100,000/floor for the Sky-Lofts. 

If you are interested in a 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, or penthouse home I can keep my eye open for any future sales/assignments (assignment fee from the developer is 5% - marginally higher than average).

Lifestyle and Area

Known as New Yaletown, this area is experiencing some of the fastest development in the city. Other construction in New Yaletown includes Vancouver House, 1111 Seymour Residences, 498 Drake Street, The Charleson, and Grosvenor Pacific.
There are hundreds of excellent restaurants within walking distance.
Easy access to public transportation including the Canada Line (Yaletown-Roundhouse).

8X is also very close to the International Film Centre and adjacent to Emery Barnes Park.

Maintenance Fees

40 cents/foot and includes the 24-hour concierge, 34th-floor amenities, gas on balconies and in the kitchen, ultra-high-speed Internet, A/C, Geothermal Heating, Hot Water, building maintenance, and building insurance.

Note that these are very reasonable fees considering the amenities in the 8X on the Park building.

On Assignment:

On assignment means that the floorplan has already been sold to another buyer, but is available for purchase from the presale buyer (quite common for all presales). I can keep my eye out for assignment offers if there is a unit/floorplan that you're particularly intersted in.
