Elliot Funt is a Real Estate Advisor with Engel & Völkers Vancouver
Engel & Völkers entered the Vancouver market in 2015 and has since become one of the largest brokerages in Greater Vancouver.
I joined Engel & Völkers Vancouver in September 2016. Now, as an experienced Realtor® with nearly a decade in real estate, I am proud to say Engel & Völkers Vancouver is the only brokerage I have been licensed with.
Elliot Funt, Real Estate Advisor with Engel & Völkers Vancouver
I truly stand behind what Engel & Völkers Vancouver offers to clients in terms of professionalism, real estate ethics, leadership in the industry, and longstanding relationships.
What was once 28 Advisors when I started, is now about 165 advisors. Now more than ever, I am dedicated to Engel & Völkers and to providing truly exceptional service to every client I meet.
I specialize in Downtown Vancouver, West Vancouver, North Vancouver, and Howe Sound real estate. I handle areas outside of these, though these areas are where my knowledge and experience run deepest.
The Role of a Real Estate Advisor at Engel & Völkers
At Engel & Völkers, our branding generally uses the term Real Estate Advisor, rather than Realtor to reflect the type of service you will receive. The idea being that I am here to advise you through your purchase, rather than just be your Realtor. I take this role seriously no matter what the title of my career; providing knowledgeable, experienced advice is the keystone of my business. This is also closely tied with the core values of Engel & Völkers below.
Core Values of Engel & Völkers
It took me a few years to fully incorporate the core values of Engel & Völkers into how I work as a Real Estate Advisor. With experience, has come the confidence that these values are not just words, but something I see lived out every day. I notice it most in our office meetings, when visiting another Engel & Völkers Advisor’s open house, or even when traveling abroad and stepping into an Engel & Völkers office. No matter the location, I see the same level of Competence, Exclusivity, and Passion.
Market Presence of Engel & Völkers Vancouver
This year, Engel & Völkers Vancouver became the only two time winner of the Engel & Völkers Cup. This award recognizes real estate excellence in leadership, brand compliance, and performance and is the largest award in the Engel & Völkers North America network. Years recognized 2017 and 2025.
The Metro Vancouver Engel & Völkers shops include: Yaletown, Kerrisdale, West Vancouver, Ocean Park, and Langley. I am licensed directly out of the Yaletown shop and have extensive knowledge of the markets in Downtown Vancouver, West Vancouver, North Vancouver, and Howe Sound.
The Engel & Völkers Vancouver shop has won many significant awards as a top-producing Engel & Völkers brokerage in North America.

Inside Engel & Völkers Vancouver
The Engel & Völkers’ EDGE for High-Value properties
When handling high-value properties, it is critical to advertize globally rather than only focus on the local market. Even though most purchasers do come through local sources, especially with foreign buyer ban in many areas, the global market should not be ignored. Through the worldwide reach of Engel & Völkers, I have access to all of the following websites and publications. In particular, the Engel & Völkers Worldwide site/GG Magazine, James Edition, ListHub, and Juwai.com.
GG Magazine
The Engel & Völkers toolbox includes GG Magazine, which targets affluent buyers for ultra-luxury listings (unique listings ~$10M plus). GG Magazine gets distributed quarterly to a global audience with an average print run per issue of 279,000+, plus widespread online viewership.
Most people looking at buying their first condo ask the same question. Why buy when the S&P 500 seems to offer similar or better returns? I ran the numbers across multiple real-world scenarios, including living, renting, and investing, to see how real estate actually compares today in Vancouver and North Vancouver.
